Label and packaging customers in Korea are to receive enhanced service and support following Xeikon’s new dealership agreement with South Korean partner S&I Systems Co Ltd. With immediate effect they will take on Xeikon’s full portfolio of products and gradually assume the full responsibility for local supply of services and supplies.
“The Korean labels and packaging market is one of the fastest growing in Asia,” states Bent Serritslev, Xeikon’s General Manager Asia, Digital Solutions. “To date we have successfully installed a large number of presses and serviced the customer base direct from the HQ in Belgium with both services and consumables. However, with the dynamics changing, we have decided to play a much more active role in South Korea. To do that effectively we wanted to work with local expertise to supply quality services, readily available spare parts and consumables.” He adds that a more accessible presence in South Korea will make it easier for current and future customers to acquire and operate Xeikon digital presses.
