Welch Packaging has acquired Michcor Container Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI. Specific terms of this agreement were not disclosed.
Michcor Container is well-established box manufacturer in Grand Rapids known for reliability and customer service. Founded by John Pettengill in 1981, the company sought a partner to continue a high level of service to customers and create a secure future for hard-working employees.

Welch Packaging operates a network of corrugated sheet plants supported by its own sheet feeder system. With 21 corrugated business units and a packaging distribution business, Welch Packaging offers a diverse portfolio of capabilities including bulk laminated products and graphic packaging.
