Wausau Container adds second Young Shin diecutter

Phillip Mack, National Sales Manager of Young Shin USA Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Korean-based Young Shin Industries, has announced that Wausau, Wisconsin-based Wausau Container Corp. has added a second Young Shin Revotec diecutter to accommodate the growing requirements of its clients for high-quality and rapid turnaround production. Wausau Container specializes in the printing, diecutting, and finishing of custom paperboard packaging.

Young Shin USA provided a 90-day delivery and installation of the Revotec 106SR diecutter to Wausau since Young Shin Industries allocates existing inventory of its comprehensive diecutter product line for its North American clients. The Revotec 106SR is designed and manufactured at Young Shin Industries in South Korea.

Among the many reasons that the Revotec 106SR was chosen is that it offers compatibility with existing dies and provides a seamless integration into the production environment. In 2015, Wausau Container invested in a Revotec 106SB diecutter (stripping and blanking). When a second diecutter was required to meet growing client demands, the company selected the 106SR diecutter with stripping. Features include: a cost-effective, economical purchase price with low annual operational expenses; an integrated lead edge removal system; an automatic delivery apron that facilitates non-stop delivery; UL-certified electronics including UL-wiring; greater impressional tonnage capacity.

Chuck Plier, President of Wausau Container, said, “We were very fortunate to enjoy a speedy delivery of this high-quality Young Shin diecutter. Since our associates are currently trained and realizing increased productivity on our existing Young Shin Revotec 106SB, the installation of the Revotec 106SR allowed us to enhance volume while offering even greater turnaround times for our clients.”
