Dutch packaging specialist Volkers has increased production efficiency following its investment in software and hardware solutions from Esko. The family-owned operation offers a one-stop-shop service from design to print for retailers, brand owners and printers. It has invested in a range of technologies that streamlines its operation, reducing costs and cycle time. Included is a variety of prepress software solutions including Automation Engine Connect, as well as a Kongsberg X20 versatile digital finishing device and an Esko CDI Advance 4260 laser imager for direct exposure on flexo plates and sleeves.
