Veronapack choose Solema again, this time with a market first

Located in Northern Italy, Veronapack was founded in 1989 and to this day, is a leading producer of high-quality corrugated and solidboard partitions. From the very beginning, the Management chose to rely on Roda Converting equipment, investing year after year in new machinery to grow the business.

“Solema and Veronapack crossed paths in 2013, after the successful acquisition of Roda,” explains Luca Borella, Sales Director at Solema. “We met Veronapack’s CEO, Giovanni Angero for the first time. After investing a considerable amount in new equipment for solidboard partitions, they wanted to expand corrugated capacity and they achieved this by adding a Super-Combi and a second Andax to their production hall.”

In 2018, Veronapack purchased a Solema Sol-Combi, the first punching machine manufactured by Solema. Doing this, Veronapack expanded its product range: now it produces a wide variety of corrugated locking partitions.

“This investment allowed Veronapack not only to gets rid of its traditional die-cutter, but also made it much more competitive on pattern flexibility, without having thousands of different die formes and the space needed to store them,” adds Borella. “We are now happy to confirm that once again, Veronapack has placed its faith in us. Even considering the hard times we are all facing due to COVID-19 , we are manufacturing a new Super-Combi 1500mm model for this special customer, with delivery in the last quarter of 2020. With its wide range of new Solema machines, Veronapack has confirmed once more to be one of the biggest solid and corrugated pads and partition manufacturers in Italy.”
