Based in Italy, Vega Srl, the manufacturer of folder gluers, has recently concluded an important deal that sees them buying the brand, patents and know-how of the Revicart Company. In particular, this relates to all ‘end of line’ machines (automatic collecting systems) and some additional devices that can be directly inserted into the machine in order to offer complete gluing lines for its customers.
“I have long hoped for a kind of synergy between our two companies, but the time was never quite right, but when the opportunity arose back in July, we didn’t miss the opportunity,” says Dr. Jacopo Nava, Vega’s Managing Director. “We are now in the position of guaranteeing that new Revicart machines are included in our production range. In addition, we offered Mr. Claudio Pini, former owner of the Revicart company, to collaborate with us and he is now part of the Vega Team dealing with new technologies, development and research tasks. However, we are not involved with the already installed Revicart machines, for which there are still pending procedures.
