Following the recent retirement of Peter Aird from Twintek UK Ltd, Paul Williams has now set up a business called Twintek Stitch to act as the UK supplier of Vickers stitchers and spare parts.
“After some 30 years in the corrugated industry, servicing Vickers stitching machines and other sheet plant machinery with our sister company I&M Electrics, we had the opportunity of purchasing the Vickers Stitcher spares/service business from our friend Peter Aird at Twintek (UK),” explains Williams. “I&M Electrics has purchased spare parts from Peter ever since he started his business and at times, tapped into his vast knowledge on Vickers equipment. All of the spares have been purchased from Twintek (UK) so users can be assured of continued reliability of spares and service. All of the current suppliers to Twintek (UK) are joining us at Twintek Stitch for continuity of service to present and future customers.”
Twintek Stitch is a family run business based in Gloucester. Williams continues, “Our main role is to provide the supply of spare parts and service for Vickers machines.”
Paul Williams, owner of both Twintek Titch and I&M Electrics, is a trained engineer and received his first training on Vickers machines in 1984 when I&M Electrics was first formed with his father. I&M Electrics have worked for many integrated companies in the corrugated industry, as well as many independents.
