Kornelius Thimm was appointed to the Management Board of the Thimm Group on 1 February 2017. The 39-year-old is therefore expanding the current management team of Mathias Schliep (CEO) and Jens Fokuhl (CFO). As Chief Operating Officer, Mr Thimm will be responsible for the operating business of the Thimm Group, which includes production, engineering, purchasing and logistics.
Mr Thimm is a graduate mechanical engineer engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In his twelve-year career, he initially led development projects in the BMW Group in Munich (Germany) and Detroit (USA). Subsequently, he was responsible for business development at Conprinta Printing Technology. Most recently, he was the Director Customer Support at Beumer Maschinenfabrik, a leading international manufacturer of intralogistics. He was responsible for the organisation and distribution of customer support in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
