Tien Chin Yu Machinery Manufacturing Co Ltd of Taiwan have recently opened a UK subsidiary to directly serve its long established and ever-growing customer base. TCY Machinery UK is based from its own premises near Leeds, Yorkshire. The UK operation now takes care of new machine sales and after-sales matters, with a particular focus on parts supply, service and technical support.
TCY Owner and General Manager, Ken Hsiao, comments, “We continue to grow our global presence and establishing a direct operation in such an important market was a key part of that growth. Investing in our own warehouse demonstrates our commitment to our customers and will mean a faster and more streamlined spare parts and technical support service. TCY has a strong history in the UK thanks to a combination of dedicated agents and partners and reliable machinery. We will continue to support those partners with their customers too.”

Since 1959, TCY has manufactured and supported a wide range of machinery, from mini-line through to jumbo casemakers, as well as rotary die-cutters and corrugators. Customers have the option to specify the classic open and close system or state-of-the-art computer set, fixed type servo-driven casemakers.”
Already this year, TCY has supplied three machines into the UK market – a 2200mm x 4800mm Jumbo flexo casemaker with inline stitching, a 1200mm x 3000mm classic flexo inline casemaker and the first TCY direct sale to Smart Packaging in Yate, near Bristol, who have installed a new N-series 1600mm x 3000mm printer slotter with rotary die-cutter.
