UK-based Cartostrip has launched the ‘Universal’, specifically to address the needs of the corrugated box manufacturer, with the emphasis on safety, with an upgraded power unit and ultra hard stripping chain.
“It is common knowledge that the use of this equipment can reduce labour time in stripping by up to 80% but the most important element, which is seldom mentioned, is that of safety,” says Richard Alcock, Managing Director. “H&S evaluation is now an even more important factor in decisions about buying equipment. Claims for industrial injury are on the rise, so we have produced a machine in consultation with the HSE which conforms to essential safety criteria, particularly dual valve operation.”
