Contact Originators has announced that its CEO, Steve Mulcahy, has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board of FIAUK (The UK Flexographic Industry Association).
The announcement was made at the FIAUK Annual Awards on 20 June. Joining the 2024 Board of Directors, Mulcahy brings a fresh vision and deep industry expertise to the position and will help steer FIAUK‘s long-term strategy and direction, ensuring that the association continues to advocate for and support the UK’s vibrant flexographic industry.

Commenting on his new role, Mulcahy said, “I am honoured to be appointed as the new Chair of FIAUK, building on the excellent groundwork created by my predecessor Andy Wilson. Even with the challenges we all face, FIAUK partners and members continue to outperform on the world’s stage. It is organisations like FIAUK that ensure the entire supply chain is rowing in the same direction and lobbies for its interests. I believe that the UK is home to some of the most innovative and creative printing and packaging companies found anywhere in the world, many of whom are found within the FIAUK organisation.”
He concluded, “Being entrusted with this role by the FIAUK Board is a significant responsibility, and I’m committed to ensuring that we continue to support our members effectively. The UK flexographic industry must not only keep pace with global standards but also set new benchmarks of its own in quality, innovation and sustainability. This begins with hard work from industry bodies, and it’s a challenge we’ll gladly rise to.”
