Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA, the international supplier of printing inks for packaging applications has signed a contract to purchase Ultra Inks Inc, the Canadian supplier of flexographic inks located in Bois-des-Filion, Québec.
With this acquisition, Siegwerk further expands its product portfolio for packaging while strengthening its local footprint in the Canadian market. “Ultra Inks is well established and has a very strong local reputation, especially in Québec. The company is known for its highly personalised inks and services and therefore is a perfect fit to our Siegwerk family,” explains Dave Hiserodt, Head of CUSA Region at Siegwerk. The acquisition enables Siegwerk to significantly expand its local footprint and build up its infrastructure and workforce to further grow in the region and across Canada.
