At drupa, Robatech will be presenting PerfectFold, a new system that makes folding corrugated boxes more efficient and precise. Other highlights include adhesive application heads for silicone release liners and tear strips in the e-commerce sector and a coating head for gluing paper carrier bags with cold glue.
The PerfectFold liquid creaser, that visitors can experience live at Hall 12/C10, is as brilliant as it is simple. The system applies a creaser liquid to the fold lines of a corrugated board so that the blanks can be folded precisely and with little effort. Cracking of the cardboard, irregular gaps and fishtailing are now history. Corrugated cartons creased with PerfectFold provide exact internal dimensions so that inserts can be fitted into folding cartons without any problems. Robatech uses the proven Sempre 30 application heads to apply the liquid. The SpeedUp creaser liquid, which leaves no marks on the corrugated board, was specially developed for PerfectFold.
The other attractions at the Robatech booth are the two electrical application heads Vivo 18 and Presto. The space-saving Vivo 18 hot melt coating head is characterised by its even, precise adhesive application, which can be used to flexibly apply silicone release liners or tear strips to e-commerce shipping packaging. The Presto cold glue coating head stands for a high-quality coating application with a precise start and exact tear-off. Ideal for applications such as neatly gluing window envelopes or paper carrier bags.
