Oldham, England based Ribble Packaging confirms the appointment of Mark Charnock as a Non-Executive Advisor. He is currently Managing Director of the social enterprise, Gone for Good, which runs a smartphone app to help people reuse and recycle unwanted goods by arranging collection of them by national and local retail charities across the UK.
For many years Mr Charnock was a top-ranked retail and financial analyst in the City, where he worked for Investec and ING Charterhouse. Prior to this he worked in the retail industry in business development roles in the UK, North America and across Europe. He is also a qualified solicitor. “I’m looking forward to working with Ribble. At the heart of what they do is trying to provide packaging solutions which reduce waste, promote sustainability and help the environment. It resonates with my interests in encouraging re-use and recycling as well as Corporate and Social Responsibility,” says Mr Charnock.
