Recycling Expo, in association with The Recycling Association, has confirmed Dimitra Rappou, Executive Director of Sustainable Products at the Confederation of Paper Industries, as its newest speaker.
Rappou is a champion of sustainability within the paper and packaging industries. With a robust academic background and strong research foundation, she brings a wealth of expertise in UK and European waste management policy and strategy. She has extensive experience in recycling and recyclability, having led the last two revisions of the CPI Design for Recyclability Guidelines and spearheaded the development of Papercycle, a comprehensive recyclability assessment tool. These initiatives showcase her technical expertise and commitment to advancing sustainable practices in the industry.
