Fosber Group recently started up a 2.8m S/Line complete corrugator at a leading, privately owned sheet feeder in north-eastern Italy, close to Venice. Ondulati Nordest is the latest customer to benefit from the high volume S/Line, which in this case, is rated at 420 mpm. It features five LINK M3 integrated roll stands and splicers and runs a diverse range of single wall and double wall board types.
Having only commissioned the machine on 4th March this year, the company successfully set a performance record on its new line, achieving 168,214 linear meters (409,481 sqm) of E flute in a single eight-hour shift. The production record included 76 different orders and 11 different paper qualities.
