MINDA has confirmed that it has replaced two pallet loading stations with a new double loading station at the DS Smith site in Margarethen am Moos, Austria.
The special feature is that the modification took place during ongoing production of the corrugator and converting machines without impairing them.
“The intermediate storage was further automated: old roller conveyors were replaced by plastic chain conveyors and, in combination with a new transfer car, the stacks are now transported into the storage fully automatically and then fed to the converting machines,” said the company in a statement. “A big thank you to the entire DS Smith team around the Project Manager Patrick Baldauf, for their fantastic support on site.”
