Progroup donates €25k for local projects

Progroup has donated €25,000 to the ‘Southern Wine Route’ district and supports projects in the Silz Wildlife and Hiking Park.

Due to COVID-19, many families are currently choosing to vacation at home. Above all, the institution supports parents and their children in organising their holidays and imparting knowledge about nature in a playful way. Jürgen Heindl (CEO, Progroup) and Maximilian Heindl (Chief Development Officer) handed the donation to District Administrator Dietmar Seefeldt and Daniel Kraus (Managing Director Wild- und Wanderpark) on site.

Jürgen Heindl (CEO of Progroup) and Maximilian Heindl (Chief Development Officer) handed the donation over to District Administrator Dietmar Seefeldt and Daniel Kraus (Managing Director Wildlife and Hiking Park).

Progroup says it places great importance to thinking and acting long-term and sustainably. To be a good neighbour for the people in the region is part of the company philosophy. This is why the family-run company specifically supports projects in the areas of the environment and the promotion of children and young people.

“For children and young people in particular, the restrictions caused by the corona pandemic are considerable, even during the school holidays. Attractive leisure activities are all the more important. We are happy to support the projects in the wildlife and hiking park of the Southern Wine Route district, which focus on the topics of nature and community, ”says Jürgen Heindl.

With the donation, Progroup supports, among other things, a one-week daytime free time for children, community-building campaigns for parents and children, and a tree-planting campaign in the wildlife and hiking park.

District Administrator Dietmar Seefeldt underlines the importance of regional cohesion, saying, “The corona pandemic is still with us. In these challenging times, the mutual support of regional actors from business and society cannot be valued highly enough. With the generous donation, Progroup makes a valuable contribution to educational work in the southern Weinstrasse district.”
