It has been reported that the start up of the new 9.4m paper machine at Model’s Eilenburg mill has been delayed by a month or so.
Although Model gave no reason for the delay in start-up, the company confirmed that the new PM will produce around 600,000 tonnes per annum of fluting and testliner, in a weight range of 70 and 120 gsm. Originally scheduled to start up this month, the company has now suggested it will start up by the end of June.
