The Panther Group has been successfully validated by the SBTi organisation in the following categories:
- Near-Term Targets
- Net-Zero Targets
- FLAG Targets (Near-Term & Net-Zero)
The SBTi is a globally operating organisation that calls upon companies to contribute to combating the climate crisis by meeting specific Science Based Targets and substantiating them with scientifically based CO2 reduction measures. This makes the Panther Group one of the first corporate groups worldwide in the ‘Forest and Paper Products – Forestry, Timber, Pulp and Paper, Rubber’ sector to receive a successfully validated Net-Zero 1.5°C target and meet all SBTi requirements (Near-Term, Net-Zero and FLAG targets).
Consequently, the Panther Group hereby commits to reducing both emissions directly influenced by the company (Scope 1 and Scope 2), as well as all indirect CO2 emissions (Scope 3) in accordance with the SBTi target.
