The Pro Carton Young Designers Award, a prestigious platform for talented, young designers to showcase their skills and make a mark in the sustainable packaging industry, approaches the deadline for the final round of public voting on 23rd August 2024.
This competition provides students with the opportunity to gain learning experience outside the classroom, build networks, create job opportunities, and win exciting prizes. Consumers, industry professionals, and academics are invited to submit votes here for their favourite cartonboard innovations and next-generation concepts of the year, which will determine who wins the esteemed Public Award. The winners will be announced at the awards gala on 19th September in Berlin, Germany, during the annual ECMA Congress, with all finalists invited to the official awards ceremony.
The Pro Carton Young Designers Award shortlist was recently determined by a panel of industry experts and professionals, representative of the entire cartonboard value chain, including Satkar Giddar (Independent), Sanjeev Das (Unilever), Lotte Krekels (Carrerfour), Heidi Vanspauwen (Van Genechten), and Winfried Mühling (Pro Carton).
Voting is open until midnight on 23rd August 2024, with three votes able to be cast. Voters are also able to cast for the European Carton Excellence Award Public Vote and the Pro Carton Student Video Award Public Vote.
