The last twelve months have been busy for ID Machinery with their flexo converting machines. As European partner for JC, they have completed a number of installations throughout the UK and Europe.
The extensive JC range provides high quality, competitively priced printer slotters, rotary die-cutters and flexo folder gluers,” explains John Brasier, Managing Director. “A number of customers have opted for double sided printing machines to support the growing market for e-commerce boxes.”
Recent installations of top and bottom print lines include a 2.5 x 1.2 six colour rotary die-cutter at Diamondpak in Pontypool; an offline two and one machine running with a new Asahi flatbed die-cutter in Germany; and a six colour 2.8 x 1.6 rotary die-cutter at Caps Cases. This is the second JC installation at Caps Cases, following a 3.5 x 1.6 six colour flexo folder gluer. Other installations include a 2.5 x 1.0m three colour flexo folder gluer at Fastpak in Manchester and a 2.5 x 1.0 three colour printer slotter at Northern Corrugated Cases.
“One of the main reasons we selected another JC was the exceptional print quality we achieved on our first machine,” says Trevor Bissett, Managing Director, Caps Cases. “With the challenging print work that our customers require, particularly for the e-commerce market, we needed to look no further than JC for this second major investment.”
Howard Emery, Owner, Northern Corrugated Cases Group, states, “As the new JC is so easy to set and run, our operators always prefer to work on that rather than our other printer slotters.”
“As European partners for JC, ID Machinery have supplied a 2.8m flexo folder gluer in Holland for a large group,” concludes Brasier. “This machine was specially adapted to include two double slot units and a widened counter ejector to meet the customers requirement for oversized printed sheet and narrow panel boxes. In addition to this, two further installations of flexo folder gluers were supplied by our sister company in Portugal, ID Machinery Europe based near Porto. With another UK installation commencing this month- and a number of machines on order for next year – the partnership between ID Machinery, their customers and JC continues to flourish.”
