UK-based CBS Packaging has confirmed the successful installation of a fully automated pallet strapping and stretch wrapping machinery at its Birmingham plant.
This project includes two OMS Press Master vertical pallet strapping machines and a fully automatic PKG Eddy stretch wrapping machine, supplied by Gordian Strapping.
“These new machines, coupled with the recent installation of state-of-the-art automated conveying systems, have significantly improved our plant production productivity, efficiency, and employee safety,” explains David Pretty, Group Operations Manager (pictured with the teams from Avanti Conveyors & Gordian Strapping). “This latest investment in our finished goods line demonstrates our commitment to meeting the demands of our customers by improving the speed, stability, and security of all outgoing bundled pallets.”
