New release of WEBcnx 2018

The latest release of Arden Software’s workflow solution software – WEBcnx 2018 – is now available. WEBcnx is a project life-cycle management and workflow automation tool created exclusively for the packaging industry.

The company says the new release of WEBcnx promises improved performance, an enhanced design library and additional functionality for handling prospective customers, including the ability to customise their contact information. The additional features include:

  • The ability to add and edit customers and addresses;
  • Enhanced support for the workflow management of prospective customers;
  • Enhanced support for inactive customers;
  • Dashboard consolidation to minimise page reload;
  • Improvements to document performance;
  • Improved user interface with a new project/layer view dialog;
  • Editable DBWs for users and sites;
  • New user management email templates;
  • Language filters to make translating custom content easier;
  • New configuration options for experimental and legacy features to enable the prototyping of new functionality in production environments.

Pete Barke, WEBcnx Product Manager at Arden Software, said, “WEBcnx is designed specifically for the packaging industry and has the ability to automatically project manage your packaging production across the world. We’re confident that the new features and improvements will enhance user-experience and continue to deliver speed, efficiency and accuracy every time.”

Acting as a virtual project manager, WEBcnx has the power to send emails, make requests and make the right decisions on a customer’s behalf, ensuring people know what to do and when to do it. WEBcnx is compatible with Arden’s Impact software and is fully customisable to customers’ individual workflow systems, and has the ability to integrate customers and suppliers into the design and approval process. The Arden Software Development Team is now working on WEBcnx 2018 R2, which is expected to be released later this year.
