Screen Europe has confirmed the appointment of Akihiro Fujii as its new President, taking over from Takanori Kakita who has been promoted to the position of President of the Graphic Arts Company and will now be based at the head office in Kyoto, Japan.
Takanori Kakita has been at the helm in Amstelveen, Netherlands for the last four years. During that time the company has experienced growth in all areas of its business, but particularly in the supply of digital inkjet equipment.
The new President, Akihiro Fujii, has been with Screen in Japan for almost 30 years. He has previously held senior positions in Screen Australia and Screen America, and most recently was Deputy General Manager of the Business Management Division in the Screen Graphic Arts Company at the Kyoto head office.
