UK-based C&T Channel Matrix (C&T) confirms the introduction of a new Pertinax Counter Sheet for carton manufacturing – New Countamat. It is a durable counter material that offers cleaner cutting, longevity and antistatic properties. The improvements include better dimensional stability, less tendency to bend or curl and a longer life span. Supplied as 1070 x 1040mm sheets, in 0.3mm and 2.0mm heights, Countamat material consists of a two-layer fine woven glass cloth. The dense cloth weave ensures durability on press and clean channel cutting, while also helping to extend the life of the tool.
Specifically developed by C&T, it is ideal for cleaner routing and long run durability. Countamat is available with, or without, C&T’s easy peel adhesive backing. This improved grade is already a tried and trusted product with a number of die makers and customers ranging from pharmaceutical, food and beverage, tobacco and cosmetic packaging users.
