As the only European company, BillerudKorsnäs last year was named sustainability leader in the category Containers & Packaging and included in the globally recognised Dow Jones Sustainability Index. In this year’s assessment, BillerudKorsnäs advances from belonging to the top 20% in Europe, to the 10% most sustainable companies in the world.
Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index covers the leading 20% of the largest European companies in terms of sustainability. Dow Jones World Index includes equivalent leading 10% of the companies worldwide. BillerudKorsnäs states its inclusion is thanks to its performance within risk and crisis management, climate strategy and labor practice indicators.
