Choichiro Kano, Senior Vice President & Deputy Head of Sales Headquarter for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machinery Systems, confirms that the company has now counted more than 400 orders of its EVOL flexo folder gluers globally.
“Now we have the EVOL running at leading integrated and independent corrugated packaging producers in 25 different countries around the world,” states Kano. “The EVOL is working daily at plants on all five continents – Asia, Africa, Australia, the Americas and Europe.”
Kano continues, “Of the 25 countries where the EVOL has been installed, users report high volume output, irrespective of the quality of the board being processed. For example, we have machines running in Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan and China, where the emphasis is on the use of recycled papers. We also have machines running in the Americas, where there is a higher volume of Kraftliner.”
He concludes, “Irrespective of country or territory, type of papers being converted or level of operator experience, box plants using the EVOL flexo folder gluer get the highest level of casemaker output for their factory.”
