According to Masterwork Managing Director for Germany and Slovakia, Frank Matthias Schmid, “The positive feedback we had from drupa was really encouraging, and we have opened a raft of new enquiries from many countries in the months since the trade fair.”
The drupa exhibit showed a Diana folder gluer line running at speeds above 120,000 boxes per hour while two robots were supplying blanks and shipping cases to the line which a third robot was stacking with filled cases using the new Diana Smartpacker.
Riding on the back of this success, MK Robotics took a tabletop display at the recent ECMA Conference in Berlin and attracted even more attention from the carton industry, where recruiting skilled staff is becoming more difficult, and automation is seen as a way forward.
Maik Stumberger, Head of Product Management, commented, “We were delighted by the positive feedback and the interesting talks we had with customers from all over Europe. ECMA was a great boost for our business and a successful venture for MK Robotics.”
