As part of the ongoing development of the Mirri suite of products, a new addition to the range, Mirri Stardust, has been announced. Tightly packed reflective silver triangles create the sparkling effect of the substrate and as opposed to the original Sparkle product, Mirri Stardust has a smooth surface. This more easily enables users to overprint a design if required. Using print can also help to add more subtlety to the substrate and using white ink will block out the sparkling effect completely. There are many options to help create a bespoke look.
The surface of the film is also treatable with print finishes, from foil blocking to screen processes, enabling customers to create bespoke designs completely unique to their brand. Mirri Stardust will join Mirri Sparkle and Mirri Oyster White Prisma in the new range, Mirri Specials. These products have been collated together due to their vibrant and distinct qualities.
Expected to be of interest to creative packaging designers and the POS industry, Mirri Stardust can be used to create a stand-out, eye-catching product or display. The high quality film is laminated to folding boxboard. It will be stocked off the shelf in one specification and size: 315mic/220gm, 1000mm x 700mm. This product will be available at the end of January 2017.
