Dublin, Ireland-based McGowans Print are one of Ireland’s leading digital printers and a leader in print innovation. Founder and CEO, Mal McGowan, started the business more than 25 years ago with a colour copier in a small shop in Dublin. As an enthusiastic and aggressive adopter of digital print technologies, he and his 100-strong team have built the company into one of Ireland’s most recognised print solutions provider. The company operates more than 25 digital presses for both cut-sheet and superwide-format digital production printing.
With much of its business centered on high-quality display graphics applications, McGowans Print recently invested in two machines from Lamina System of Boras, Sweden. McGowans is now able to use its new Lamina Crash Lock Gluer 2216 and Freestanding Workingstation 3020 to meet existing demand for corrugated display work, as well as to develop new business producing high-end, full-colour corrugated packaging. The machines were sold by Lamina’s agent for the UK and Ireland, Finishline Machinery.
