Matik, Inc., a North American distributor of European print and packaging technologies, has appointed Bill Strake as Eastern Region Sales Manager, Vinfoil Products. In this role, Strake will represent Matik Vinfoil cold foil products throughout the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada.
Strake has had an accomplished career in cold foiling and converting. Most recently, he successfully introduced Compact Foiler cold foil systems to the USA and sold multiple installations. He continues to sell Cameron slitter-rewinders for GLV (part of Valmet) in the paper and film packaging markets and for CGA-HolloWrap stretch & prestretch film slitter/rewinders. He has also held technical management and product development roles at Cam Tech, LLC Appleton, Wisconsin.
