Phillip Mack, National Sales Manager of Schaumburg, Illinois, based Young Shin USA Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Korean based Young Shin Industries, has announced that Liberty Carton Co., manufacturer of corrugated packaging, point-of-purchase displays, signs, and retail packaging, has selected the Young Shin Zenith 210S Plus diecutter to augment current production capabilities at its Minneapolis, Minnesota, operations.
Liberty Carton was seeking a large format diecutter with faster makereadies and greater reliability. The high-speed Zenith 210S Plus was selected due to its integrated automation features, flexible range of applications, performance and quality. Installation is scheduled for early 2017.
The diecutter’s capabilities include: single and doublewall corrugated; solid substrates such as micro flute; litho label and singleface laminated board; foam core; plastic corrugated and paperboard down to .060 point; automatic grip of up to a maximum sheet thickness of .433-inches; 5,000 sheets per hour; and maximum sheet size of 82.50-inches by 59.05 inches.
The diecutter is designed and manufactured in Daegu, South Korea, and represents the firm’s most recent offering within its line of comprehensive diecutters. It features automated setup, die compatibility with existing Swiss-made equipment and low cost of ownership.
