Koch Industries Inc. has named Jim Hannan, President and CEO of Koch subsidiary Georgia-Pacific since 2007, EVP and CEO – Enterprises. In his new role, Hannan will oversee Georgia-Pacific, INVISTA, Molex, and Guardian, as well as Koch’s recently acquired interest in Infor. He will be responsible for driving improvements and advances, including the application of technology, software, and data analytics. He will continue to report to Dave Robertson, president and COO of Koch Industries.
Succeeding Hannan as president and CEO of Georgia-Pacific is Christian Fischer. Fischer joined Georgia-Pacific in 1989, and has served in many leadership roles, including EVP of the packaging and cellulose segment, a role he has held since 2007.
Georgia-Pacific announced that Scott Light, president of GP PRO, will succeed Fischer as EVP of the packaging and cellulose segment. Light joined GP in 1999 and has worked in many businesses. Light will report to Fischer. Additionally, Mike Adams, currently SVP of sourcing, has been promoted to president of GP PRO and communication papers. Adams joined GP in 1994 and has served in many roles. Adams will report to Kathy Walters, EVP, Georgia-Pacific consumer products segment. Hannan, Fischer, Light, and Adams will all continue to be based in Atlanta.
