Nihat Kiray, the Turkish sales agent for Latitude Machinery Corp. has confirmed the recent sale of a new rotary die-cutter. The machine – a five colour 660 x 1800mm flexo rotary die-cutter – has been ordered by Yesil Ambalaj, based in Diyarbakir, Turkey. The machine will be shipped in March 2021 and installed by the end of April.
“This is a great move from Yesil Ambalaj,” states Kiray. “This type of high speed flexo rotary die-cutter can run at speeds of up to 400 boxes per minute and thanks to a large pre-creaser, it ensures there is no fishtailing of the boxes.”
Kiray, who has been Latitude’s agent in Turkey for 20 years, has sold 30 LMC lines to plants in the territory, ranging from mini-lines right through to jumbo printer slotters.
