bcm transtech of Denmark has recently completed the design, manufacture and installation of its largest ever storage solution.
The company has now completed installation of an automatic die and stereo storage system at Wellpappe Auerswalde KG in Germany. This privately-owned company produces high-quality flexo-printed packaging on a wide range of inline and offline printing machines, many of which are equipped with seven printing units. With so many machines, the company needed a complete system to house thousands of stereos and hundreds of dies.
“Auerswalde is one of the most modern corrugated factories in Europe, and now they benefit from one of the most sophisticated automated storage solutions for dies and stereos – and for now, the largest example in the world,” says Jens Christian Christiansen, Managing Director, bcm transtech. “We are proud of this great partnership with the team at Wellpappe Auerswalde and thank them for their belief in our automated solutions.”
