Founded in 1969, Ondultecnica Lombarda is a leading print finisher and packaging producer. The company focusses on converting, die-cutting, lamination and embossing of a wide range of paper-based products. Over the last two decades, the company has added hot foiling, silk screen and plastic lamination to its production processes.
Earlier this year, Ondultecnica installed a fully automatic 1116 FA sheet to sheet laminator at its plant just outside Milan in the town of Pessano Con Bornago. Manufactured by Lamina System AB in Sweden, the machine was commissioned in the spring. It can handle a wide range of materials, from small sheet sizes right up to 1100 x 1600mm, with constant and controlled precision.
“We are able to offer customers a wide range of services, from really small lot sizes right up to long runs,” explains Luca Galleri, Managing Director. “The addition of the Lamina machine enables us to handle long runs of litho-laminated work with ease, thanks to its quick set-up times and its high operating speed.”
