Donoghue Packaging are specialist manufacturers of corrugated, wood and foam protective packaging. Operating from a 100,000 sq ft facility based in Cork, Ireland, the company serves a diverse customer base throughout Ireland, the UK and Eastern Europe and supply many different industries, such as pharmaceutical, electronics, aerospace, medical equipment, automotive and food processing Industries.
They recently took delivery of a Lamina SL 2216 folder gluer in January. “Thanks to the new equipment, we are able to satisfy the large volume demands of our blue chip customers based throughout Ireland, the UK and eastern Europe,” says Ray Donoghue Jr, Operations Manager.
The installation of the new Lamina gluer comes only a few months after the company installed a Solarco Boxmatic 23DCPE-D short run boxmaker.
