The firm reported a robust profitable year posting a double-digit increase in order intake in the first quarter year-over year. This strong growth, which exceeded the industry average, was underpinned by significantly more orders for services and for folding carton, direct glass and security printing presses. Revenue exceeded the previous year’s figure by 6.2%. Contract signings are currently exceeding expectations.
This past year, the firm has expanded its reach into new post-press products including the formation of Koenig & Bauer Duran with its popular Omega line of folder-gluers. Visitors to the show can learn more about this new introduction which complements its popular Iberica flatbed die cutter line to offer a complete line for printing and processing of folding cartons from a single source.
