Young Shin Europe has confirmed the installation of a YS 1040NCS fully automatic die-cutter at Jasun Envirocare in Bridgwater, Somerset. This die-cutter has a maximum sheet size of 740 x 1040mm and a top speed of 7,200 per hour and can fully strip. The stripping function is particularly useful to Jasun, as they manufacture latticed framed filter covers from solid board, which is very labour intensive to do by hand.
Managing Director of Jasun Envirocare, Graham Bentley commented, “We were impressed with the Young Shin after a demonstration in London. Also, the quick lead time was a bonus as the old die-cutter we were using was broken and not worth repairing.”
