Based in Casablanca, Morocco, Imprimerie Ideale have chosen Edale as their preferred machinery supplier for a second time. This follows on from their initial purchase of an 8 colour Edale FL5 with flatbed die-cutter. Their latest machine is a 510mm wide, 8 colour FL5 equipped with a screen module as well as a rotary die station for inline die-cutting, embossing and sheeting.
Youssef Ajana, CEO of Imprimerie Ideale said, “The first machine was perfect for short to medium runs, the second machine will provide us with the ability of longer run work.”
The FL5 has the ability to combine print, cut, crease and braille as well as embossing and removing the waste within a single machine, making it ideal for short run carton work from 1000-100,000 units and is also reconfigurable for a wide range of sizes and forms.
James Boughton, Edale’s Managing Director, says, “Imprimerie Ideale have reaped the benefits of producing folding cartons in a single pass with the FL5 and they have proved this by ordering a second machine within a short period of time. The FL5 press has the ability to run substrates up to 700 micron.”
