ID Machinery has confirmed a collaboration with Keshenglong, to exclusively represent them in UK, Iberian Peninsula and to offer sales and support in other north European countries. KL specialise in a full range of printing and converting machinery dedicated to the corrugated industry.
Established in 1995, and with cooperation from ICN company of Germany, KL became one of the first manufacturers of flexo folder gluers in China. A rapid growth of the large dynamic group of companies under the KL banner include flexo converting machinery from both KL and Japanese manufacturer Shinko, established in 1931 and one of the oldest manufacturers of FFG in the world, who KL purchased outright in 2017. Common technologies were shared, and the range now includes flexo folder gluers from mini 618 size with speeds at 450 sheets per minute, the popular 924 sized machine with speeds up to 350 sheets per minute culminating in the super Jumbo size 2560 with a working width of 6m. Patented designs include full servo driven fixed type FFG, ultra-low power vacuum transfer with modular units featuring rapid belt change and computerised selectable crease profiles depending on board grade. Further expansion of the Keshenglong group in 2021 encopasing Nantai Asahi of Japan, the established and manufacturer of flat bed die-cutters, Jiayi for automatic folder gluers and stitchers and Crownway for intelligent conveyor systems, along with a technical collaboration with Hanglory Hanway for digital printing.
Having been established in this field for over 20 years, KL have installations in over 70 countries including in Europe and USA. 2025 saw the most recent installation of a jumbo flexo folder gluer in Portugal.
