Harris & Bruno International showcased its ExcelCoat ZRS Flood/Spot Coater workflow center at an open house on March 11–12 in Roseville, California. “We’re excited for customers to see the ExcelCoat ZRS’s various spot coating capabilities,” Vice President of Global Business Development Scott Michels said. “We have perfected our optical registration system and this was our first time showcasing the entire workflow, from pre-press, to plate cutting, mounting, and running the machine.
”Customers were most drawn to the accuracy of ExcelCoat’s spot registration and the swiftness of every setup or changeover. “Soft touch, gloss, priming, H&B can take care of you,” said attending HP Executive Account Manager Eric Zirbel. “Just a very well-built machine. Given my technical/mechanical background and testing various pieces of equipment, I have to say that I am impressed with the workmanship. A great value for production and quality.”
The ExcelCoat ZRS Spot Coater is a high-throughput, multipurpose machine that raises the bar in advanced finishing machinery. Utilizing a quick-change flexo-style plate system and sophisticated camera registration technology, the ZRS is the perfect fit for packaging and commercial print applications.
