Steve Whillis, Business Unit Manager – EMEA, Kiwiplan, has confirmed the appointment of Gustavo Torres as a new Account Executive for the EMEA team.
Torres (pictured left) is no stranger to the industry, having worked within the corrugated packaging manufacturing industry, as well as software and machinery sales specifically for corrugated. He started his career in 1998 with MarquipWardUnited, before moving to work with Mondi and then Grupo Gondi. For the last five years, he worked for another software company within the industry. He speaks English, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and joined Kiwiplan at the beginning of the year.
“Kiwiplan is a company I have held in high respect as a partner, customer and even as a competitor, during my career,” said Gustavo Torres. “I am grateful to have been called to join the Kiwiplan family and I look forward to growing the reach of the entire suite of products to box plants around the region.”
