GPIAC have recently installed two Econ sheeters to feed press ready stacks to their production site in Melbourne. Until recently, all sheeting was outsourced. However, in order to increase flexibility and reduce costs, a decision was taken to bring this function in house. The first production pallets to reach the presses delighted the printers and increased running speeds due to the high precision stacking and lack of curl.
In recent times four Econ Sheeters have been installed at folding carton plants in Australia and New Zealand. Advanced design and build techniques allow BW Papersystems to deliver high quality sheeting at a price level providing a very short ROI.
