David Orr, Managing Director at The Fencor Group, has confirmed the recent installation of a new Vega Altair speciality gluer at the Group’s Whittlesey, Peterborough-based Manor Packaging. Handling a wide range of 3 point glued case styles, the new gluer, which is manufactured in Italy, was sold by Vega’s UK and Ireland representative, GTS (Europe) Ltd. The machine runs a diverse range of boxes and cases for Manor Packaging’s expanding customer base.
David Williams, Managing Director of GTS (Europe) Ltd, confirms that sales of Vega gluers have been strong over the last few years. “It has been a really active period for sales of the Altair gluer, specifically for corrugated boxes,” confirms Williams. “We are delighted to have installed the machine at a leading independent such as The Fencor Group and this re-affirms Vega’s position as a world class supplier of speciality gluers for the corrugated industry.”
