The International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA) and the World Containerboard Organisation (WCO) have confirmed Ivy Barney, Senior Director Inbound Quality Walmart Supply Chain, as a keynote speaker at the upcoming ICCA/WCO Global Summit to be held May 20 – 23 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.
Drawing on her experiences, Barney will provide her perspective on corrugated packaging and the role it plays in the Walmart supply chain from suppliers, to distribution facilities to stores and in the ever-expanding space of Walmart e-commerce.
Barney is currently responsible for leading the strategy to transform the quality of inbound flow into Walmart. In her prior role as Senior Director of Supply Chain Services, she led a team responsible for optimizing inbound transportation, distribution and reverse logistics for the Walmart US Supply Chain. She joined Walmart in Store Operations in 2010 and served as Divisional Merchandise Director and Director of Innovations for the MS River Delta Division, where she led teams that provided merchandise and operational process support for all stores in Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
