The judges of the 2019 European Carton Excellence Awards have crowned Printpark’s Gabrini In Love EDT as the Carton of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony during the annual European Carton Makers Association (ECMA) Congress in Malta. Gabrini In Love EDT’s packaging was created using cartonboard from Metsä Board, and was chosen as Carton of the Year for its outstanding design features. The uniquely shaped pack is encrusted with crystal rhinestones, rarely seen on cartonboard packaging, and has a decorative holographic finish on the inside. The judges remarked that the interior and exterior of the pack work perfectly together to appeal to the product’s target market, with the ‘jewels’ creating impact and in-hand texture.
