Emballages Valois takes first Cuir I/O flexo die-cutter

On Friday 27th March, Emballages Valois signed the acceptance for its new printing and die-cutting line from Carvin, France-based Cuir CCM. Jean-Paul Wcislo, Plant Manager and Didier Grelin, Technical Manager were present for the acceptance.

Based in Fleurines, Oise, (which is north of Paris), Emballages Valois is taking delivery of the new MRV I/O, the latest printing and die-cutting machine from Cuir. The machine is able to print in up to two colours on the inside of the box and one on the outside. This machine was ordered several months earlier by the Maillard brothers, owners of the company, which is a part of Groupe Allard Valois.

On 3rd of April, the national newspaper, Le Parisien, visited Fleurines to see the crane delivering the 50 tons of new technology. Eric Maillard, the owner of Groupe Allard Valois group was happy to confirm that the company had invested €1.5m in the new machine, saying that it will bring them new business and opportunities. Linked to the investment, they hired four additional employees to join the existing team of 45 already in the company.
