Edale has appointed Matik Inc as its exclusive distributor in North America. Edale manufactures the highly versatile FL range of modular flexo presses, from 13 to 30 inches (330 to 762 mm), which are capable of handling substrates from 12-micron film to 600-micron board for producing a variety of value-added applications from labels and tags to single-pass cartons and scratch cards.
Matik, based in Connecticut with several regional offices, is the exclusive distributor in North America for many other companies, including Codimag, Gietz and Melzer, and provides full sales and technical service support to its nationwide customer base. The Edale flexo presses complement Matik’s portfolio of advanced converting, printing, slitting and packaging equipment perfectly, and enable the company to offer its customers a broad choice of technologies.
